Why I never get my rewrites done.

Squirrel under the squirrel-proof hood on our hanging bird feeder. Over the pond.

Squint and use your imagination -- squirrel leaping out of pond, leaving his splash behind, and scrambling up side of pond. You try to take an iphone photo of a rodent in motion through tinted windows!

The bird feeder social hub entertains me endlessly.  I’ve had rats, possums, squirrels, cardinals, blue jays, grackles, sparrows, finches, crows, doves, and a red tail hawk this summer.  I especially love the squirrels falling in the water.

I’m easily entertained.

And distracted.

p.s. It took three solid weeks, but I finished my re-write of Leaving Annalise; check it out.  🙂
